Daniel Goleman, in Primal Leadership, describes this as resonance — and it starts on the inside, with the supervisors and managers who carry the culture of an organization in how they think, relate, and lead together. Why This Work Matters Before a leadership team can function with real cohesion, each person has to understand how they process information and respond to stress. That processing happens in the limbic system — the part of the brain responsible for emotion, memory, and relational connection. It's relationship-based, which means one person's stress response affects everyone around them. When those patterns go unexamined, they shape team culture in ways that are often invisible and deeply felt. Our model teaches supervisors to recognize their reactions to stressors and develop the self-regulation skills to lead from intention rather than instinct — so the team stops reacting to each other's stress and starts responding to each other's humanity. What We Work Through Together Grounded in Goleman's four EI domains, our work moves from the inside out — Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management — building the interpersonal depth that allows a leadership team to function as a unified, resonant whole. We examine each supervisor's Default Mindset, strengthen communication across different stress responses and styles, and align individual values into a shared leadership identity. This is not instructional. We create space for genuine self-discovery — individually and together — honoring the full transition into a new sense of self and identity as a leadership team.
