Change - Clarification - Actualization Process

Embrace

During this period, it is important to practice compassion, gratitude, and loving kindness for yourself. As we work through change, it may seem as if you are suffering needlessly, and this can become overwhelming if we attempt to suppress the feeling. I suggest you open yourself up and acknowledge the suffering. Suffering is only temporary and acceptance of the impermanent nature of suffering makes the situation manageable. Embracing suffering may seem counterintuitive but this is a perfect time to practice equanimity, not attaching to positive feelings or having an aversion to the negative feelings and acceptance of them as they are.  Acceptance will allow you to look deeply into the cause of your suffering to end the suffering. A wise person stated, we create more suffering by trying to avoid suffering.

Exercise: Causes of Suffering

Many of us live with suffering of fear, fear of dying, fear of what might happen if we make the wrong decision. Fear often immobilizes, blocks creativity, and keeps us in less than fulfilling situations.

Observe each fear

Does it motivate you?

Does it Inspire you?

Does it exhaust you?

Does it immobilize you?

How does it make you feel about yourself or your life?
