Change - Clarification - Actualization Process

Clarity

Finding clarity is the very first step in the journey of CCA process. Personal growth and self-discovery dictates that you observe our life’s journey to the present time. Through the lens of hindsight, you will observe the events and life circumstances that informs your current personal perspective. Our past informs the present but does not have to determine the future. Each of us make the best of situations as best we can with the tools at our disposal at that time. Advancement in neuroscience has demonstrated the neuroplasticity of the brain, showing we can learn and develop new neuropathways changing the way we respond to stimuli.

Vision: A broad picture of where you are going, the sort of life you want, the way you want to live, what you want to achieve. This is more like an outline versus a detailed map. Having a vision is important in determining success.

Values and Beliefs are interrelated since they collectively affect our attitudes, perceptions, personality, character, and behavior.

Values: refer to principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life: Examples: Loyalty, fairness, courage, compassion, respect, etc.

Beliefs: refer to the conviction or acceptance that something exists or is true, especially without proof: Examples, lying is bad, God created the world, cheating is immoral, etc.

Voice: refers to the use of right communication. While acknowledging the person, you are communicating with may be suffering, be aware of your own suffering, practice mindful breathing and being in the present. Compassionate listening is the most effective way to lessen their suffering. Compassionate listening is not becoming defensive or interrupting to make a point, the sole purpose is to lessen to their suffering.

Right Speech: Speak assertively without malice towards the listener. Take time to center yourself, responding with compassion, empathy, and awareness of the suffering of all. With self-awareness we understand that we speak not only with our voice and that speech is only twenty percent of what we are communicating to the listeners.
