Mindset Align Coaching
We all have a Default Mindset, whether we acknowledge or realize it. We rely on our default thinking in assessing risks, managing relationships, accomplishing tasks, or traversing obstacles. The Default Mindset has evolved over time and is rooted in your lived experiences. Your default mindset may have served you well, or not so well, to this point in your life’s journey.
Mindset Align Coaching (MAC) joins with you to examine the evolution of your Default Mindset. Our process offers the opportunity for you to align your current mindset with your future vision of yourself.
Our process begins with recognizing your desire to realize your maximum potential. This recognition marks a critical point in the process of moving from a mindless life where settling occurs towards a life of intention and agency.
Mindset Align Coaching is a step by step process of clarification of your personal vision and core values. It supports you in courageously overcoming Doubt and Fear as you transition and guides you in cultivating a true wisdom mindset.

Actualization ~ Finding Meaning
“To be sure, man’s search for meaning may arouse inner tension rather than inner equilibrium. However, precisely such tension is an indispensable prerequisite of mental health. There is nothing in the world, I venture to say, that would so effectively help one to survive even the worse conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one’s life."

Why KLH Associates Mindset Align Coaching?
KLH Associates Mindset Align Coaching offers an alternative to conventional approaches to transition coaching. Mindset Align Coaching guides you through an internal process that leads to increased emotional intelligence. It is not instructional; it does not tell you what to think, but instead provides the space for you to explore your thought processes. In supporting you, Ken draws from both his formal education and vast lived experiences with both voluntary and involuntary transitions, whether personal or business.
Ken’s experience with major transitions started at an early age, leaving his birthplace in Nassau, Bahamas at age twelve and spending four years in a British boarding school in Yorkshire England. Ken’s post-secondary education was another major transition, moving to the US to attend a HBCU (Historically Black College and University).
Ken spent fifteen years in the hospitality industry navigating from dishwasher to food service management due to his strong work ethic. Through these experiences, he was given opportunities to develop high emotional intelligence resulting in a keen ability to hear what is not being said.
His experience with major transitions continued through thirty years in the human services field from hands on direct care social worker to Minnesota State Regional Clinical Director. Here he keyed in on his abilities to listen actively in order to ask questions that unlock true insights.
In his private life, Ken demonstrated his persistence and desire to succeed by completing five full marathons, several half marathons, and practicing in martial arts. It took four attempts to run his goal marathon personal record of sub four hours. In navigating the mental and physical challenges, he learned that there are many opportunities for mindset transitions, mile after mile. Ken understands whether training for long distance running or mastering the art of Ryukyu (Okinawan) kempo martial arts, or starting and operating three business ventures, dedication and discipline follows the desire to succeed.

"I have seen and learned much in my many transitions working in corporate America, the nonprofit world and private entrepreneurial sectors. I am ready and willing to join you on your transition journey. I am certain my methods will add value for you and those you interact with. Having a desire for personal growth begins with the decision to take action and having persistence through a growth mindset will eliminate doubt and fear."

Resonance
Coaching for Midlife Transitions & What Comes Next
Midlife has a way of asking questions you weren't expecting.
You've built something real — a career, relationships, a life with weight and meaning. But somewhere along the way, the identity that carried you here has started to feel like it no longer fits. And the version of yourself that comes next is still taking shape.
That in-between space — where the old sense of self is fading and the new one hasn't yet arrived — is exactly where RESONANCE begins.
Through six private coaching sessions, we join you in the interpersonal and internal work of self-discovery — helping you make sense of what's ending, reconnect with what matters most, and move forward with clarity, purpose, and intention.
Your experience isn't something to outgrow. It's something to build from.

Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
Building the Internal Harmony That Your Team Can Feel
Your team takes its cues from you — not just from what you say, but from how you show up together as a leadership team.
Here's what most leadership training misses: before a supervisor can manage a team, they have to understand how they manage themselves. How they process information. How they respond when stress hits. And how those reactions — often happening below the surface — ripple outward into every interaction, meeting, and relationship they have at work.
The science is clear on this. The limbic system — the part of the brain that governs emotion, memory, and relationship — is the first to respond to stress. It's relationship-based, which means it doesn't just affect how we feel. It affects how we connect, how we communicate, and how we lead.
When supervisors understand their own stress responses and learn to self-regulate, the whole team feels the difference.
KLH Associates Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Development partners with supervisor-level management teams to do exactly that internal work — so that what you build together on the inside is reflected in the culture your team experiences every day.
